The global microcosm of innovations

The drupa innovation parc in hall 7 bundled innovative power from across the entire print industry. With its focus on the innovation trends that are setting the pace in the industry, the parc was a must-see stop on every drupa tour. As the innovation parc’s official print production partner, Océ produced the parc newssheet, the ‘dip news’, live every day.

drupa Highlights Tours

For each drupa Highlight Tour, participants were guided in groups of not more than ten people to between six and eight selected exhibitors, and on each stand an expert representative of the exhibitor provided a presentation.

drupa COMPASS sessions

The Compass sessions, organised by the Bundesverband Druck und Medien (German Printing and Media Industries Federation) gave the lowdown on brandnew innovations. Each Compass session had a different thematic slant and picked up on current industry trends. Aside from passing on knowledge, the Compass sessions acted as the ideal “navigational aid” and meeting point for getting together with colleagues and talking shop.

drupa cube - space of inspiration

This was a special event program for the target audience print buyers: the highlight was – as in all 19 event halls – the print product, with one essential difference: in the external pavillion the marketing driven use of the print product was on show. Océ reported on June 4th, 2008, on “Billing & Statement Documents – how to use them as vehicles for customer communication”.
