Océ was the official print production partner of the drupa innovation parc, drupa’s investment in the future of the print media industry. This was designed as a form of “think tank” and thus a must-visit location for new target groups such as print buyers and corporate publishers.

Every month, organizations such as telco providers and insurance and credit card companies send out millions of invoices to their customers – items that cost money to print and mail. These transactional-type prints tend to be plain, no-frills documents, their designs dictated by technical rather than marketing considerations. Partnering with Böwe, Lasermax Rollsystems and UPM, Océ showed how to leverage the power of digital printing by enriching traditionally plain print items such as invoices with customized promotional messages to up-sell and cross-sell products and services.
